Day 1 (Oct. 1)
Arrival in Reykjavik, Iceland

Day 2 (Nov. 2)
Golden Circle & South Coast - Seijalandsfoss, Reynisfjara, Skogafoss
We will spend the first day of this round tour exploring the famous Golden Circle. The Golden Circle includes the UNESCO Heritage site Thingvellir National park, Geysir hot spring as well as the mighty Gullfoss waterfall. After visiting theses three top attractions we will make our way towards the South Coast of the island en route to our accommodation for the night. We will have the chance to visit both Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls as well as the magnificent Reynisfjara black sand beach before heading to our accommodation close to the village of Vík
Day 3 (Nov. 3)
Vatnajokill & Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon
Glaciers are on today's agenda! As we keep on with our ring road adventure and move further South-East we will pass Mýrdalsjökull glacier and drive throughvast lava fields before reaching Skaftafell
National Park which is part of Vatnajökull National Park where Europe's largest glacier lies. Once there we will start our glacier exploration, setting off for a glacier hike on one of Vatnajökuls outlet glaciers. After our hike we will be stopping at the popular Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon where you can explore the lagoon that is covered with floating ice bergs. Our accommodation for the night will be in Höfn í Hornafirði.
Day 4 (Nov. 4)
East Fjords - Djupivogur, Egilsstadir
Glaciers are on today's agenda! As we keep on with our ring road adventure and move further South-East we will pass Mýrdalsjökull glacier and drive throughvast lava fields before reaching Skaftafell

After our hike we will be stopping at the popular Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon where you can explore the lagoon that is covered with floating ice bergs. Our accommodation for the night will be in Höfn í Hornafirði.
Day 5 (Nov. 5)
Lake Mývatn Area
Heading to the northern part of the island we will pass the wilderness of Möðrudalur valley before making our first stop for the day at Dettifoss waterfall, Europe's most powerful waterfall. After some exploration of this beautiful phenomenon we will make our way to Lake Mývatn area where you will get the chance to experience the magnificent landscape around the lakeand snap some photos of its surroundings.
Among Lake Mývatns highlights are Námaskarð, Hverfjall crater and Dimmuborgir lava field. We'll make a stop at Mývatn Nature Baths, where you have the opportunity to bath in the hot spring pools. The entrance fee can be added when booking or paid on site. For those that don't wish to go in the water, they can stroll around the area and enjoy the views or sit down in the cafeteria Our last stop for the day before making our way to Eyjafjörður where we'll find our accommodation near Akureyri will be at Goðafoss waterfall..
Day 6 (Nov. 6)
Whale Watching in North Iceland - Dalvik, Siglifjordur
In the morning, you will get a chance to explore Akureyri, the capital of the North, before we go for a 3 hour whale watching tour from Dalvík where whale sightings are quite common. The most common whales being spotted in that area, are humpback whales. It's also possible to upgrade (Apr-Oct) for a small fee to a 1.5-hour rhib boat tour, that can give the opportunity to approach them closer. After your whale watching adventure, we will make our way to the cosy village of Siglufjörður and around the mountainous Tröllaskagi peninsula before arriving at Borgarnes where we spend our last night of this tour.
Day 7(Nov. 7)
West Iceland - Borgarfjörður
On the 6th day of the tour we head to Borgarfjörður West Iceland, an area voted as one of the best destinations by Lonely Planet in 2016. Borgarfjörður has a lot to show and we will visit some of the best natural and historical stops. Deildartunguhver hot spring is on our list as well as two waterfalls: Barnafoss (also known as the Children's waterfall) and Hraunfossar which emerges in low cascades straight from a lava field. Before ending the day with scenic views of Hvalfjörður (Whale Fjord) we will also stop at Reykholt, a historic site that was once home to a famous Icelandic historian, lawyer, politician, author of some of the Icelandic Sagas, and poet Snorri Sturluson. We expect to arrive in the city around 5 – 6 pm.
